With over 30 years of experience in the glass business, owner Daryl Jamieson looks back at the past 15 years managing and growing Suncoast Sundecks Inc. Taking what he learned during 16 years in the glass fabrication end of the business, he focused on the supply and install side – specifically glass railing applications. “The small business I was able to acquire already had a solid presence in the contracting community, waterproofing decks and providing aluminum and glass railings - representing two of the best brands in the business – namely Weatherdek and Railcraft.” He worked with the established client base and capitalized on quality brand recognition, customer service, “backing what we sell and install” and on the gradual growth in construction up and down the Sunshine Coast. Today Suncoast Sundecks maintains a formidable position in the deck waterproofing and metal railing business on the Coast.
